Visitors!

So after nearly two months of settling in I’ve finally had my life shaken up with my very first visitor! Who was the lucky guest? The one and only Gavin Boggs of course!

Between the two of us we explored the best of Bristol, lurked around London, had a lay over in Lacock, adventured in Avebury and consumed copious amount of cider. It was glorious. A few highlights can be seen below:

We went to Lacock and saw the Abby (featured in Harry Potter). We didn’t actually go inside because it was pretty pricey, but I think you get the idea.

Avebury Stones

We went to Avebury, sight of the biggest stone circle in the world! We saw some stones, which was very impressive despite how lame that might sound.

We learned about England’s history at the Tower of London. The white tower (seen above), though more famous for other things, is the first royal palace in the UK. Who knew!

Well after a week of romping around the UK Gavin made his daring return to the wilds of PA. Despite some sickness and sore limbs I can safely say we both had a fabulous time and I can’t wait for my next visitor. Good thing I don’t have to wait long! The Brittany Card countdown has begun: 1o days ’til arrival!!
